Holly was divorced at least three times. The first time, she was married to the actor Danny Quinn. They got married in 1991, then divorced two years later. Jim Carrey met her in 1994 while attending the Ace Ventura Pet Detective auditions. They weren't able to get the part however, they began to bond when they shot Dumb and Dumber. In 1996 they were married. The marriage lasted only an entire year, and they split at the end of 1997. In 2002, Holly Greco married Francis Greco. After marrying to Greco in 2008, she became the first Canadian. They split at the end of 2014. Holly and her three children reside in Oakville Ontario Canada. Holly, Grant and their families each created the A Fund in 1992 at Hobart & William Smith Colleges to honor her brother Alexander. Holly described him as an "boy with a lot of hopes, dreams, plans and hopes". In 1992, Holly her father Grant, as well as their families established the A Fund in William and Hobart Smith Colleges in honor of Alexander, who, as Holly explains "was a boy filled with dreams, hopes, and dreams."

Alaina is born November 8, 1994, her parents being Kristy the late J. J. J. Suddeth from Rossville, Georgia. Her father is an engineer for process at Chattanooga, Tennessee.Alaina started to sing when she was 3. Following a long vacation of a year, she sang in the choir for children. The singer sang in church and in eateries, on family holidays and anywhere she could within a 30- mile radius. Alaina took home in the Southern Stars Pageant talent contest when she was just 8 years old. That year she was crowned the talent competition for kids at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. She performed on that stage each year up to the age of 12 at which point she was crowned the winner of a competition that allowed her to appear on the festival's big stage. At the age of 10 years old, she went to Orlando for the American Model and Talent Competition. She was the winner of the competition over 1,500 competitors. Alaina was a singer with the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's children's group. Alaina first went to Nashville in her teens. Also, she performed at local bars like Tootsie's on Broadway. Alaina was the winner in 2009 of Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park's WinniSTAR young talent contest. The cousin of Alaina Holly Witherow was diagnosed with brain cancer, which encouraged her to begin singing. Alaina was a CiC's Pizza employee before joining Idol. She graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe School, Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
